If you've never stopped and thought about how many local art legends have come out of the halls of UC Davis' art department, now would be an opportune time, since Elliott Fouts Gallery has curated a collection of work from the university's alumni and faculty. Some of the artists included in the show, called An Eclectic Grouping, like Robert Arneson and Wayne Thiebaud, helped influence and shape following generations of locally grown artists under their tutelage, such as René Martucci and Vonn Sumner. Other artwork by Aggies you can expect to see in this grouping include works by Roy De Forest, Tony Natsoulas, Jeff Nebeker, Nathan Oliveira, Roland Petersen, Michael Ramstead, John Tarahteeff, Peter VandenBerge and Camille VandenBerge.
