Osmosis Jones

Rated 2.0 Half live-action, half-animation and, for the most part, not very good. Bill Murray stars as a slob who consumes a germ-ridden hard-boiled egg, starting a nasty battle between viruses and white blood cells in his body. The war of the cells is depicted with semi-impressive animation, featuring the voices of Chris Rock and Laurence Fishburne, and the Farrelly Brothers direct the lousy live stuff. The cartoon is bland, and the live action, despite the presence of Bill Murray, is a bore. One of my least favorite movie moments in recent years has to be Murray’s zit-popping and spraying the face of Molly Shannon with pus. Something I just didn’t need to see. Wait for the rental.
