Pushing Tin

Two air traffic controllers develop an intense rivalry while their marriages fray in this M*A*S*H of the skyways. John Cusack and Billy Bob Thornton play the control tower cowboys and Elizabeth‘s Cate Blanchett and Angelina Jolie co-star as their wives. The acting, characters and workplace details are engaging, but the story’s mass hysteria evolves into an unconvincing group hug.
