Epic Movie

Four strangers are recruited from parodies of The Da Vinci Code (Jayma Mays), Nacho Libre (Kal Penn), Snakes on a Plane (Faune A. Chambers) and X-Men (Adam Campbell) to participate in a parody of The Chronicles of Narnia by way of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Writer-directors Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer, perpetrators of the execrable Date Movie, are at it again, and they haven’t learned a thing. They still have no idea what’s funny and what isn’t; like Date Movie before it, this one is another perfect storm of not funny. Flailing helplessly in the wreckage this time are look-alikes (well, more or less) for Samuel L. Jackson, Paris Hilton, Johnny Depp, Ashton Kutcher and Jack Black (among others), along with the real Fred Willard, Jennifer Coolidge and David Carradine.
