Two eco-events for the price of one! There are lots of reasons to appreciate the common bee in this locavore, grow-your-own modern world. Intro to Bees is a workshop being hosted at, where else, the River School. Considered getting a hive to help ensure pollination in your garden or maybe even to provide some honey for the table? You’ll get the basics in two hours starting at 10 a.m. on April 3. Maybe they’ll even talk about alternative pollinators like Blue Orchard bees. The cost is $20.
