Time for a picnic
Bartley Ranch Regional Park was reopened on Dec. 1 after the Caughlin Fire wreaked havoc on the park’s western and southern ridges. The damaged areas, including the Flume Trail, Quail Run Nature Trail and portions of the Ranch Loop Trail, will remain closed to the public until they have been rebuilt. They are estimated to be finished in the spring. Park visitors should be mindful of the signs and barriers to ensure safety. For updates, visit www.washoecountyparks.com.
