The Warrior’s Way

Rated 1.0

This unholy hybrid of westerns, samurai films and circus freaks is remarkable only in that somebody with money thought it was a swell idea to make it. The likes of Kate Bosworth and Geoffrey Rush slum in what amounts to nothing but polished trash peppered with the occasional freaky clown. A lone warrior from the East (Dong-gun Jang) comes to an Old Western town with a child in tow, trying to escape a clan war. The old town is being harassed by a band of evil cowboys led by the intolerable Danny Huston. Rush, who also participated in this year’s very good The King’s Speech, embarrasses himself and all members of his family as the town drunk. Bosworth, who once had a promising career, needs to avoid Western/samurai films peppered with scary clowns in the future.
