The total cost of all U.S. government wars since 2001 passed $1,434,656,788,354.

Associated Press reported last week that the U.S. is still paying off costs from the Civil War, Spanish-American War, two world wars, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, two Iraq wars and the Afghan war.
