The Devil Inside

Rated 1.0

The Devil Inside The latest “Hey, let’s make a movie that looks and feels like a documentary, but isn’t!” film is pure shit. This horror wannabe is about a young, extremely uninteresting woman (Fernanda Andrade) making a documentary about her mother, convicted of triple homicide during an alleged exorcism. This means we get to listen to some actresses try to out-profane Linda Blair in The Exorcist. (She’s the eternal queen of profanity spewed towards priests; no sense trying to top her.) The film, which appears to have been made for something like 20 bucks, clocks in at a mere 87 minutes. It’s 87 minutes that feel like 10 hours. Hey, 2012 already has a worst movie of the year contender. Congratulations, assholes!
