Sex and the City 2

Rated 1.0

Oh for the love of God and everything that is considered divine in the heavenly dimension, please make it stop. Sarah Jessica Parker and friends return for a pathetic second film that tarnishes the reputation of the fine TV show. When Carrie (Parker) gets bored with her marriage to Big (Chris Noth), she takes off with Charlotte (Kristin Davis), Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) and the increasingly abominable Samantha (Kim Cattrall) for Abu Dhabi, where they wear stupid clothes and manage to embarrass the United States. The script is tired from the get-go, resorting to such film clichés as the karaoke session, where the girls belt out “I Am Woman” in a scene that redefines lame. The best thing about the movie is a Liza Minnelli cameo where she sings a Beyonce number and dances like a storm. Hey, fans of the TV show: It’s OK to hate these stupid movies.
