Sen. Hardy resigns
Clark County Sen. Warren Hardy has resigned his seat in the Nevada Senate to devote full time to his job as president of the Associated Builders and Contractors, a major lobbying organization.
Hardy had to abstain on several votes during the 2009 Nevada Legislature because of his day job, and his conflict was the subject of a May 22 Nevada Supreme Court ruling.
