Power folks to meet

An annual meeting of the Geothermal Energy Association will be held at the Grand Sierra Resort June 26-27. The event will feature industry execs, public officials, and others interested in renewables. Nevada politicians like to say that Nevada is the Saudi Arabia of geothermal.

Among those attending the event will be former Nevada state consumer advocate Jon Wellinghoff, now chair of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
