Killers, who recently appeared in Spin magazine, played at the New Oasis on June 21. The band’s sound borrows heavily from ’80s icons Morrissey and New Order, and the band members seem to have a penchant for dressing in “thrift store chic” clothing, as they wore suit coats and jeans on stage. Killers headed off to the United Kingdom after the show to play at the prestigious Glastonbury festival—not too bad for a two-year-old Silver State band. … Got a dance fetish?
