Living history

Learn about Meriweather Lewis, William Clark, Sacagawea and other historical figures of the Lewis and Clark Expedition at this year’s Great Basin Chautauqua. Local scholars will assume the characters of these historical figures and answer questions about their lives. Live music begins at 6 p.m., followed by the Chautauquan performances at 7 p.m. July 20-24. Tickets are $7-$60 but the July 20 show is free. Events are at Rancho San Rafael Park, 1502 Washington St. Call 784-6587 for details.
