Well, you wouldn’t believe it, but Eric nearly broke his leg—again! I can’t believe no one told us that the Reno-Sparks area has more skateboard parks per capita than any other city in the United States. Sally, I just don’t know what to do with that boy. But I have made a surprising, time-saving discovery. Last week, when Eric’s ankle puffed up like a purple beach ball, we took him to an emergency room at a downtown hospital. That was a huge mistake. We waited for hours before anyone even looked at him, then hours more before we saw a doctor. We were there practically all night. Yesterday, we took Eric and his ankle to the Northern Nevada Medical Center in Sparks. We were in and out in half the time. And the staff was so friendly!
I can’t believe Joe’s gone again. I don’t know how you put up with him. Oh, by the way, I saw Squeaky at a restaurant here. It looks like she’s really put on weight, but I guess that’s a good thing. So, if you don’t mind my asking, did that so-called “psychiatrist” end up with some serious prison time? I hope so.
