A dozen demonstrators last week marched in front of the Nevada capitol to protest wild house gathers, in which wild horses are rounded up and sold for adoption. The practice also became the subject of litigation last week when the Nevada Association of Counties and the Nevada Farm Bureau Federation filed a lawsuit charging that poor management of the horses has caused problems with the land.
