Sierra-based photographer Elizabeth Carmel will share her landscape photography and discuss her new book The Changing Range of Light: Portraits of the Sierra Nevada on Thursday, June 17. Climate change scientists Dr. Geoff Schladow and Dr. Robert Coats will accompany her presentation and discuss how climate change affects the Sierra Nevada. Door opens at 6:30 p.m., program begins at 7 p.m. $10. Tahoe Center for Environmental Sciences, 291 Country Club Drive, Incline Village.
