Bedfellows II

While Republican presidential candidate Rudolph Giuliani has taken some heat for his association with anti-labor Nevada casino exec Sheldon Adelson (“Bedfellows,” Upfront, Nov. 22), the former New York mayor has been spared what could have been an awkward endorsement.

In 2006, a glossy Giuliani endorsement of Nevada Republican candidate for governor Jim Gibbons was mailed statewide. Fortunately for Giuliani, the now-badly damaged Gibbons has not returned the favor.
