Despite the reality of regularly rising education costs, the majority of Butte County high school graduates attend a California two- or four-year college after graduation. This table shows the numbers of students at each school enrolling at community colleges, state schools, UCs and private universities in California over a five-year period (2005-09). Note: Chart is intended to show only the percentage of students attending California schools. Numbers for Butte County high-school graduates attending colleges outside of the state are not included.
