Chico State alumna and artist Paula Busch presents Plant Whispers, a collection of her more recent, silk-screen-based works, opening Tuesday, Feb. 5, in the Humanities Gallery in Trinity Hall, on the CSUC campus. Busch incorporates practically everything—from photo emulsion, watercolor and chine collé to a mix of floor wax and pigment—to create her pieces. Pictured is “Cinderella.” “Since much of my work is about unconscious communication,” writes the artist regarding her show’s title, “I thought ‘whisper’ was appropriate.” She states that many of the pieces also depict plants (such as the pumpkin in the pictured artwork). Show will continue through Thursday, Feb. 28. Regular hours: 8 a.m. 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. More information: Thomasin Saxe, 898-4642.
