Triclosan-free hygiene

A list of liquid hand soaps without the cancer-linked chemical

School’s back in full swing, and that means—for both teachers and students—being around a lot of people all day long. Understandably, there is concern over germs, but using antibacterial products that contain triclosan—which has been linked to asthma, cancer and learning disabilities—might cause more harm than good. As a result of public pressure, there are now a number of brands of liquid hand soap that do not contain triclosan: CleanWell, Crest, Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soaps, Ivory, Kiss My Face, Listerine, Nature’s Gate, Purell and Tom’s of Maine.
