Sunrise Movement endorses Audrey Denney’s campaign during event promoting the Green New Deal
sunrisemovement.org.">In a packed El Rey Theater on Saturday (April 27), Congress hopeful Audrey Denney pledges her support for the Green New Deal. The Chico event—hosted by the Sunrise Movement, a social welfare political action organization—was part of a tour around the United States aimed at raising awareness of the Green New Deal. The controversial proposed 10-year stimulus program would create jobs in renewable energy as a way to combat climate change.
