From Moxie’s to Has Beans …
Seattle-based singer/songwriter/musician Jill Cohn pays Chico another friendly visit at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, June 17. Due to booking conflicts, her performance has been moved from Moxie’s Café to its new venue at Has Beans, 501 Main St. Admission is a mere $5. Recently picked as the opening act for the “girls room” tour, which featured Tara MacLean, Loundon Wainwright III, Cheryl Wheeler and many more, Cohn has been touring up and down the West Coast regularly for months now. Her singing and songwriting have been likened to such diverse styles and talents as Tori Amos and Joni Mitchell. She’s definitely worth hearing.
