Best (and worst) of California

What are California's best and worst cities for families, and where does Chico fall in that lineup? According to WalletHub, our fair city ranks 150th out of 240 municipalities, based on four categories: 1) family life and fun; 2) education, health and safety; 3) affordability; and 4) socioeconomic environment. Cities in the Sacramento and Bay Area regions took the majority of the top spots in the study. Folsom placed first, followed by Eastvale (So Cal), and then the East Bay cities of San Ramon, Dublin and Pleasanton.
