New blood For the last couple of weeks the other desk in the CN&R’s arts-central office has been ruled by its third new calendar editor in less than a year! Thankfully, she does rule (please stay—please, please, please), so I want you all to be on your best behavior and join me in welcoming Stacey Kennelly to the CN&R crew. Stacey has tons of experience writing and editing for Chico State’s Orion and the Chico Enterprise Record and will be contributing features and other writing in addition to keeping Chico’s trusty calendar up to date. So, help a brother out—send Stacey notes of praise and encouragement (<script type="text/javascript" language="javascript">{ document.write(String.fromCharCode(60,97,32,104,114,101,102,61,34,109,97,105,108,116,111,58,115,116,97,99,101,121,107,64,110,101,119,115,114,101,118,105,101,119,46,99,111,109,34,62,115,116,97,99,101,121,107,64,110,101,119,115,114,101,118,105,101,119,46,99,111,109,60,47,97,62)) } </script>). If she leaves and I have to do the calendar again, you will be looking at the same calendar listing over and over: “All work and no play makes Arts DEVO a clinically depressed boy.”
